Devin Payton

Coach Devin Payton’s coaching motto – “Developing the Champion in You” – speaks volumes of his passion, drive, and belief that every player can reach their goals. Devin’s career has taken him from some of the highest levels of competitive play to coaching a wide array of players, but through it all is his unwavering commitment to nurturing champions, both on and off the field.

A Career of Excellence

The Coach

Devin's career began on the field, where he shone as a professional player in the USISL with teams like Maryland Mania, Carolina Dynamo, and the MLS Tampa Bay Mutiny. His playing prowess was recognized when he represented the US Men's Futsal National Team in 2002, a role he describes as an "honor and privilege."

His transition from player to coach led him to his role as Futsal Director of Magic Santos in 2002. Devin transformed the program into a powerhouse, leading them to multiple championship victories including two US Futsal National Championships and three Northeast Regional titles. His Pro-B Coaching License from the US Soccer Federation and his role as a National Clinician for US Futsal reflect his continuous pursuit of excellence in coaching education.
